According to reliable sources, the publicly funded healthcare system of the United Kingdom, National Health Service (NHS) is reportedly planning a mass distribution of COVID-19 vaccines towards the end of November. The vaccination will be administered in two doses, making sure they are given with an interval of three to four weeks.

If reports are to be believed, the vaccines would be made available primarily for homecare residents, frontline healthcare professionals and people over the age of 80 years. Among these, the care home residents will be given the highest priority as they account for around 40% of the Coronavirus-related deaths in the United Kingdom.

Sources close to the matter claimed that the NHS has allocated two London hospitals, namely King's College Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital, as the focal point for the distribution and administration of the vaccine. The staff employed to carry out these operations will be known as “vaccine task forces”.
