ADS acquires Tennessee based security company Duncan Security Systems

Duncan Security customers will be able to access the ADS advanced suite of commercial and residential services

ADS security has reportedly acquired the customer accounts of Nashville, Tennessee-headquartered Duncan Security Systems. However, terms of the deal remained undisclosed. Apparently, ADS will monitor and serve new customer accounts from its local branch and monitoring center in Nashville.

John Cerasuolo, ADS President, was quoted saying that Joe Duncan and his company Duncan security have performed exceptionally and have been well-respected in and around Nashville for more than 30 years. He also added that the alliance would enable them to offer better security and excellent customer service to more businesses and homes in the region.

Evidently, customers of Duncan Security will be able to access the ADS advanced suite of commercial and residential services, including smart home technologies, access control solutions, video surveillance and its industry-leading mobile application.

For the record, ADS Security, now a division of Vector Security, was established in 1990 and serves over 100,000 industrial facilities, businesses and residences all over the southeastern United States. The company offers a complete range of access control & automation systems including intrusion fire alarm systems, as well video surveillance.

US-based Vector Security had acquired ADS on June 3 this year for an undisclosed amount, sources familiar with the matter stated.

According to an announcement, ADS Security employees retained their current roles and positions with Cerasuolo heading the department, reporting directly to Pam Petrow, Vector Security President and CEO. Moreover, ADS also maintained its brand identity.

For the uninitiated, Duncan Security Systems is one of the oldest family-owned security firms in Nashville, TN. The company was founded by Joe Duncan Jr., who also serves as the company’s president. The Duncan team consists of highly skilled experienced staff members to provide customized personal services for camera systems, fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control and other security products. Duncan Security offers products from Honeywell as well as other popular brands.
